Meet the River

Community members gathered by the Sign of the Fish in Douglas Fluhrer Park for an hosted an informal evening of learning, listening and looking by the Cataraqui River. The gathering was co-hosted by The Belle Park Project, Swim Drink Fish, and River First YGK.
• Emma Langley from Swim Drink Fish gave an intro to their Kingston water monitoring hub and performed a demo of how they do the water sampling.
• Dorit Naaman and Laura Murray from the Belle Park Project explained how and why they made the augmented reality art piece Swimming Upstream for the Skeleton Park Arts Fest.
• Jeremy Milloy gave a brief introduction to the group River First YGK.
